David Martin ist Praktikant im Bereich Public Policy Consulting im Technopolis-Büro in Frankfurt. Derzeit arbeitet er an mehreren Projekten mit, darunter Evaluierungen für öffentliche Institutionen wie das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF).

David hat einen BSc in Humangeographie & Stadt- und Regionalplanung sowie einen MSc in Wirtschaftsgeographie, beide von der Universität Groningen. Während seines Studiums verbrachte er außerdem ein Semester im Ausland an der Universität Lund in Schweden. Im Rahmen seiner Masterarbeit führte er eine Fallstudie zu regionalen Innovationsleistungen in Baden-Württemberg durch, bei der er die Rolle von KMU und Agglomerationseffekten untersuchte.

Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei Technopolis absolvierte er ein Praktikum im Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) in Berlin, wo er sich mit regionaler Wirtschafts- und Strukturpolitik befasste. Seine Schwerpunkte umfassten die Gemeinschaftsaufgabe „Verbesserung der regionalen Wirtschaftsstruktur“ (GRW) sowie das gesamtdeutsche Fördersystem für strukturschwache Regionen (GFS).

David spricht fließend Deutsch und Englisch und verfügt über Grundkenntnisse in Niederländisch.
