Juanita García Gutiérrez MSc works as an analyst at Technopolis Group, Amsterdam. She is trained in a wide range of research methods, including desk research, interview, impact assessments, and survey design and implementation.

Currently, Juanita is involved in the PILLARS project team that is responsible for providing policy makers and the public with information about what kind of skills will be in demand in the labour market and how to revise education and training systems to create the opportunities to acquire them. For this project, commissioned by the EU, she is mainly responsible for conducting desk research.

Juanita has an academic background in Sustainable Business and Environmental Economics. She obtained her joint bachelor’s degree from the University of Amsterdam and the Vrij University. Her master’s degree was granted by Utrecht University. During her studies she focused on sustainable agricultural practices as an innovative business model. She has also devoted time to understanding the sustainable integration of food supply chains. Before joining Technopolis, Juanita carried out two internships with a Danish watershed company and Dutch company Philips N.V., respectively.

Juanita is bilingual in English and Spanish and has a proficient level of French. She also has a basic level of Dutch.
