Diana Guardado is a Consultant and Project Manager at Technopolis Group in Portugal, bringing nearly 15 years of expertise in innovation, scientific research, and technology. Throughout her career, Diana has played a key role in over 50 national and international innovation projects, with a strong focus on technology transfer and applied research. She is known for her skillful application of both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, surveys, case studies, desk research, and literature reviews.
Prior to joining Technopolis, Diana worked at F6S Network in Ireland, where she suported the coordination of European projects and the management of Financial Support to Third Parties (FSTP), and led work packages on science communication and exploitation. In 2024, she was invited to join the Advisory Board of a Horizon Europe-funded project.
Diana’s career also includes extensive experience managing innovation projects under Horizon Europe, H2020, and EIT Health. She has successfully implemented initiatives in stakeholder engagement, policy brief development, mentoring entrepreneurial teams, and defining R&D strategies. Additionally, she contributed to the organisation of the AAL Forum 2017 and was a coordination member of three European stakeholder networks.
Diana holds both a pre-Bologna undergraduate degree and a Master’s degree in Visual Information Technologies from the Faculty of Science and Technology at Coimbra University, Portugal. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Governance, Knowledge and Innovation in the field of Economics at the same institution, focusing on Sociotechnical Imaginaries.
Diana is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English.
