Intellectual Property Policy Evaluation

Publication date: 1 Mai 2018 | Report language: NL

The Ministry of Economic Affairs has asked Technopolis to carry out an evaluation of the Intellectual Property Policy of 2012-2017. This evaluation focused on IP rights that are most important for innovative entrepreneurship. It is not only the protection of intellectual property that is relevant, but also, and above all, its use to promote innovation and R&D. The analysis covers patent law, plant variety rights, trademark & design rights, copyright & database rights and trade secrets. The evaluation made use of an extensive literature and case law study, interviews, an international comparison, patent statistics, a survey and a focus group.
