Publication date: 7 April 2015 | Report language: EN

In the Netherlands, most of the research funding of the Ministry of Economic Affairs is focused in the so-called Topsectors. Research in the field of Biobased Economy (BBE) is multisectoral and BBE research is therefore performed in three topsectors, coordinated by the Topconsortium for Knowledge and Innovation Biobased Economy. This Topconsortium has asked the three leading research institutes in this field to do a preliminary evaluation of the first two years of their activities and provide a research agenda for the future. Technopolis has coordinated the activities of the three research institutes.
