Support in assessing the local innovation system and preparation of the regional innovation strategy (RIS-S3) Guyana
The regional innovation strategy (RIS-S3) is a pre-requesit to EU funding for the 2014-2020 period. The objective was to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the territory, and the fields where cohesion policy instruments had a significant impact. Elements have already been identified in the Strategic territorial diagnostic for Guyana, with a focus on innovation. This mission was carried out in the context of the merger of the regional and departmental authorities. The general objectives of the project were to support the managing authorities and State in setting up an action plan for the implementaion of innovation and economic development and to gather elements to draft the 2014-2020 Operational Programme (OP) and the RIS-S3.
