Luena Collini is a Senior Consultant at the Brussels office of Technopolis Group. During her career, Luena has developed expertise in European public policy design and evaluation with a focus on energy and circular economy topics.
Luena has managed and contributed to numerous projects for European and national public authorities. In particular, she has performed several studies on place-based transition pathways, e-commerce’s role in implementing the European Green Deal, consumer protection in the gas and electricity markets. She has experience in designing and applying various qualitative methodologies (interviews, surveys, data analysis, interactive workshops) and formulating policy recommendations. She has designed stakeholder engagement strategies and pan European data collection methodologies.
Before in joining Technopolis, Luena worked as a Senior Research Manager at VVA (public policy consultancy). She has led studies for the European Parliament (IMCO committee), DG JUST, RTD, DG REFORM and DG ENER. In her previous job, she designed advocacy strategy for several companies and actors to position themselves in the Brussels policy arena. She also provided advice on several topics: E-mobility, Batteries, Ecodesign, Energy Efficiency, Energy Poverty, Electrical Safety, circular economy and sustainability.
Luena holds a master’s degree in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, and a Master degree in International Relations from the University of Florence. She has participated in research and study exchanges in South Korea, Russia and the US. Luena is a native speaker of Italian and is fluent in English and French.
