Yvan Meyer has developed expertise in public policy evaluation with a particular interest in business support and economic development policies. He has contributed to evaluations and quantitative impact assessments for international, European and national public bodies. Yvan uses different tools in his work such as data analysis, econometrics, social network analysis, setting up and processing electronic surveys and participates in the creation of dashboards and maps.
He has recently participated in several studies using a quantitative approach, such as the in itinere impact assessment of the « support to investment and modernisation of industry » measure of the national part of the recovery plan, an econometric analysis for the evaluation of the impact of the ERDF on research and innovation in Occitania and the design of a Dashboard as part of the impact assessment of the Interreg V France-Switzerland programme 2014-2020.
Yvan holds a master’s degree in economic analysis and policy, specializing in macroeconomics and European policies from the Faculty of Economics in Strasbourg. His master thesis focused on the integration of the EU-13 countries within the European Research Area (ERA) using social network analysis techniques. He is fluent in French and English and has some knowledge of German.
