Lukas Hohmann is a consultant at the Technopolis office in Berlin with a focus on science and higher eduaction policy as well as social innovation. Current topics of his work are policies on career paths of early career researchers as well as on conditions for effective knowledge and technology transfer. He is experienced in conducting desk research, surveys, case studies and interviews.
Lukas has gained relevant project management and evaluation experience in projects such as the evaluation of the competition “Society of Ideas”, the 360° Monitoring of DATIpilot, the funding programme FH-Personal and the evaluation of Programme for the promotion of young scientists. Moreover, he contributed i.a. to the evaluation of the citizen science initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Germany) as well as the Workshop and Evaluation Study for the Innovation Partnerships in the funding programme FH-Impuls.
In advance to his position at the Technopolis Group, Lukas worked at the European Academies’ Science Advisory Council and at the Institute Director’s team of the Fraunhofer Center for International Management and Knowledge Economy IMW.
Lukas graduated from the University of Leipzig with a master’s degree in Philosophy after finishing his undergraduate studies in the interdisciplinary program Sociology, Politics and Economics at the Zeppelin University. He is fluent in German, advanced in English and he has intermediate knowledge of French.
