Dr Janna Axenbeck\u00a0is a Senior Consultant at the Berlin office of the Technopolis Group and an expert in digitalisation, ecological sustainability, and applied economic research. She brings many years of experience in policy consulting and combines robust methodological expertise in micro- and macroeconomic modelling with advanced skills in data science, particularly statistical data analysis, text mining, and machine learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Her thematic focus lies in the economics of digitalisation, innovation and sustainability policy, as well as climate and environmental economics. At the German Environment Agency (UBA), she recently led a large-scale corporate survey on digitalisation and sustainability in business practice. Here, she has also managed research and advisory projects analysing the impact of digital technologies on energy consumption, emissions, and competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to UBA, Dr Axenbeck worked at the ZEW \u2013 Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research in Mannheim, within the research department \u201cDigital Economy\u201d.
