Dr. Sanchari Dutta is Principal Consultant, Health & Life Sciences, at the Technopolis Consulting Group. She has 15+ years of experience in health policy research, consultancy, and the design and delivery of ex-post evaluations, and impact assessments (BRG), reports and studies for the European Parliament, European Commission, and multilateral agencies.

Sanchari has broad spectrum expertise in public health, health systems and health determinants. She is proficient in the design and application of robust qualitative and quantitative methodologies; ex-ante, mid-term, ex-post evaluations; systematic literature reviews; stakeholder consultations and case studies. Prior to Technopolis, she was Account Manager (EU Health) at Ecorys and held research appointments in Social Medicine at the Universities of Oxford, London and in India. She has led multi-country research projects in European and global health policy with multilateral funding (Leverhulme Trust, Wellcome Trust, AHRB-UK, the World Bank Group). Prior She was Wellcome Trust Prize Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Recent projects include: an evaluation of the EU’s COVID-19 response (DG EPRS) and Health Taxes from an EU perspective (DG TAXUD).

Sanchari has a BA, MPhil, and DPhil from the University of Oxford. She is a native English speaker.
