Yasmine Kone joined the Africa Office of the Technopolis Group in August 2024. Passionate about international and sustainable development, she is an Analyst with 2 years of international experience in public policy and international Affairs.

She served as a legislative Fellow at the Georgia Senate and a research assistant for the World Affairs Council where she worked on research on global policies and supported legislative research and policy analysis while working closely with experts to improve legislative proposals. Together with her academic tracks she has developed a deep understanding of international development, policy analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis. she worked on multiple topics ranging from economic growth and private sector development, digitalization in Africa, and gender related policies. Her journey helped her build strong critical thinking, analytical, creative and adaptative leadership skills.

She has been part of academic project with the Philanthropy Southeast Foundation in which she produced a policy analysis for maternal health in the southeast region of the United States. Her work will help to advocate and raise funds to reduce maternal and infant mortality, especially among minorities groups.

Driven by a strong interest in international and sustainable development, Yasmine is passionate about initiatives that promote inclusive economic growth, poverty reduction, and the promotion of environmental security in Africa. Her professional and academic background is a testament to her commitment to making a positive contribution in these crucial areas.

Yasmine holds a Bachelor degree in Global Affairs and International Development from Portland State University and Master in Public Policy from Georgia State University (USA). She is fluent in French and in English.
