Offices: Ivory Coast
Email: olivia.adou@technopolis-group.com

Olivia ADOU is an Analyst who joined the Technopolis Group based in Côte d’Ivoire in 2023 as an intern in public policies and innovation. She has a great interest in public policies, data analysis, and evaluation of public policies. Her training allowed her to have strong methodological skills since she applied many methods such as documentary research, literature reviews, and statistical analysis.

Before joining Technopolis Africa, Olivia did an internship at the National School of Statistics and applied economics of Côte d’Ivoire (ENSEA) and got involved in data processing and analysis. She has also worked on exciting projects evaluating the impact of development programs, the most rewarding of which is the Productive Social Safety Nets program in Ivory Coast. Set up by the Ivorian government with the financial and technical support of the World Bank, this program consisted in granting monetary transfers to poor households throughout the Ivorian territory to lift them out of poverty. Olivia helped assess the impact of this program on the living conditions of beneficiary households through per capita expenditure, food quality measured by the food consumption score, and employability. This project was the starting point of her interest in the evaluation of public policies.

Olivia is about to be graduated with a master’s degree in economics and Statistics from the National School of Statistics and applied economics of Côte d’Ivoire (ENSEA). French native speaker, she works fluently in English too.
