Elisabeth Zaparucha is Managing Partner and Director of the Paris office of Technopolis Group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elisabeth\u2019s experience is built on studying and evaluating public policies as well providing policy advice. Her main fields are innovation, research, entrepreneurship, technology transfer and higher education policies at regional, national and European levels as well as from an international perspective. She has a solid experience in project management. She develops and implements qualitative and quantitative tools such as stakeholder interviews, literature review, survey analysis, case studies, focus groups and workshops facilitation, benchmarking studies, writing reports and recommendations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She has contributed to the evaluation of major French innovation policies (e.g., the evaluation of the National Cluster Policy, the evaluation of the national competition for the creation of new technology-based firms, the evaluation of the Technology Transfer Acceleration Companies \u2013 SATT). She has a very good knowledge of business creation, incubators, tech hubs and accelerators as well as funding for early stages of technology-based business creation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Elisabeth has developed in-depth knowledge of innovation and competitiveness support policies in Europe. Elisabeth has undertaken international cooperation studies (feasibility studies, evaluations etc.) for the French Ministry for European and Foreign Affairs, the French Agency for Development (AFD) and UK\u2019s Department for International Development (DFID), the UNESCO. She is currently working on a 30 months EU project aiming at building connections between innovations actors in EU and Africa for the European Commission, DG RTD. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Elisabeth has spent six months in the Commissariat G\u00e9n\u00e9ral au Plan (now France Strat\u00e9gie) working mostly on eco-technologies. In 2004, she worked as a trainee at the European Commission (DG Economic and Financial Affairs in Luxembourg). Elisabeth graduated from Paris Sud-XI, Grenoble II, and Sussex University. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
