Camilo Garc\u00eda Duque is the Deputy Director at Technopolis Group – Bogot\u00e1, with over 15 years\u2019 experience leading complex policy and consulting projects in Latin America. He has experience in the design of public policies related to innovation, science and technology, and has worked extensively on strengthening research and development ecosystems, fostering cross-sector collaboration, and promoting inclusive economic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before joining Technopolis, Camilo served as Director of Innovation and Technological Development at Universidad EAFIT, where he led a portfolio of over 200 consulting and R&D projects. He also held advisory roles in Colombia\u2019s Ministry of Science,Technology and Innovation, Bogot\u00e1\u2019s Education Secretariat, Ruta N, and the Alexander von Humboldt Institute, contributing to national and regional innovation strategies, science park master plans, and innovation policy reforms. He has worked with clients including the IDB, UNDP, and multiple public institutions across Latin America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Camilo holds a Master\u2019s in Globalisation and Development Studies from Maastricht University, a Master\u2019s in Political and Economic Analysis from Universidad Externado (Bogot\u00e1), a Law degree from Universidad Javeriana (Bogot\u00e1)and is currently pursuing a PhD in Technological Innovation Management at Universidad de los Andes (Bogot\u00e1).
