Technologie vervangt routineactiviteiten en\ndaarvoor in de plaats ontstaan nieuwe (en veranderde) functies. De zogenoemde \u2018<em>servitisation\u2019<\/em>\nvan producten (product\/dienstcombinaties), de robotisering van handelingen en\nde opkomst van platformeconomie\u00ebn zijn voorbeelden van ontwikkelingen die\nleiden tot verandering in de organisatie van werk en de vaardigheden die\ndaarvoor nodig zijn. Daarnaast werken ook maatschappelijke veranderingen in\ntoenemende mate door op de werkvloer: Vergrijzing en (economische) migratie brengen\nveranderingen van de samenstelling van de beroepsbevolking met zich mee. Los\nvan het bovenstaande veranderen bedrijven simpelweg ook vanuit strategische\nbedrijfskeuzes zoals het stoppen of uitbreiden van diensten of processen, of\nomdat ze een stap maken op de internationale markt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om goed in te kunnen spelen op de huidige en\ntoekomstige veranderingen waar bedrijven mee te maken krijgen, is het van\nbelang om goed in kaart te hebben welke competenties benodigd zijn in\nondernemingen. Competentieprognoses kunnen bedrijven helpen om werknemers\ntijdig en op de juiste manier bij of om te scholen en om innovatie(s) in de\nwerkorganisatie toe te passen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tegen deze achtergrond heeft Technopolis\nGroup in opdracht van het Vlaamse Departement Werk &amp; Sociale Economie (WSE)\nverkennend onderzoek gedaan.
