Dr Laura Rennie is a senior consultant at the Paris office of the Technopolis Group with over 10 years’ experience in programme evaluation and impact assessment. With a particular interest in public health, Laura has contributed to evaluations, impact assessments and studies for international, European and national organisations. Laura has successfully applied a range of methods including theory of change development and analysis, survey design and implementation, semi-structured interviews and focus groups, and literature reviews (structured, systematic and meta-analytical). She is particularly experienced in counterfactual impact evaluation techniques (RCTs and quasi-experimental) and statistical analyses.

Before joining Technopolis Group, Laura worked for a Paris-based consultancy, delivering impact evaluations for social innovation programmes in the fields of health, education, social inclusion and international development. Prior to that, she worked as a research analyst on a project to create and evaluate a large-scale school-based cancer prevention programme. She also worked as a senior research associate, conducting systematic reviews to assess patient-reported outcomes for a variety of health technologies for the pharmaceutical sector.

Laura holds a PhD in Applied Social and Health Psychology and a Masters in Psychological Research Methods from the University of Sheffield in the UK, in addition to a Masters in Applied Social Psychology from the University of Sussex. She has published peer-reviewed articles in a variety of social psychology, health psychology and public health journals. Laura is a native English speaker and fluent in French with knowledge of Russian.
