Bruno Nemec
Consultant
Bruno Luis Nemec works as a consultant in the Green Economy department at Technopolis and is a research assistant in the InnoFuels project. In addition to statistical data analyses, expert interviews and literature research, he is familiar with energy system modelling methods.
His thematic focus is on the decarbonisation of the transport sector, sector coupling in the energy sector and the digital transformation. His projects have included the meta-study on the sustainability effects of digitalisation and work on the scientific staff of the German government’s Expert Council for Climate Issues (ERK). As part of his Master’s thesis, he carried out a techno-economic analysis of heavy road freight transport during the market ramp-up of various technology paths. He was also involved in a study on cross-border civil protection in the EU member states.
Before joining Technopolis, he worked as a consultant for knowledge and technology transfer in the Innovative University Project IMPACT RheinMain. There he was involved in the preparation of several research and transfer projects in the transport context. Prior to this, he worked as a student trainee in project planning for a wind power project developer.
Bruno Nemec has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in energy technology from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. He is fluent in German, Portuguese and English.
