Tia-J\u2019Nae Murray is an Analyst working with Technopolis across science and technology policy. Based in the London office, Tia-J\u2019Nae has previously contributed to evaluations and currently has an interest in public policy evaluation and environmental sustainability. She previously did an internship at the Brighton office of the Technopolis Group and therefore has applied a range of quantitative and qualitative methods including conducting data analysis, surveys, case studies and desk research. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As an intern, Tia-J\u2019Nae has previously assisted in the evaluation of STFC, the evaluation of FIC programme, the evaluation of ESRF and European XFEL and the evaluation of LifeArc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recently Tia has assisted in evaluations of national research and innovation funds, including the Green Home Finance Innovation Fund (GHFIF) for BEIS and the Strategic Priorities Fund (SPF) for UKRI. She was also responsible for qualitative data collection\/analysis for Landscape of scholarships, loans, and other funding options for students from South Asia, particularly India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh to pursue overseas higher education for the British Council and conducting survey analysis and data analysis for the evaluation report of the effectiveness of University Enterprise Zones (UEZs). She currently assists in case study evaluations on Hastings and Maidstone for DLUHC as well as economic analysis for the UK Vaccine Network for NIHR. She is also involved in interview analysis for process evaluation of ISCF Quantum Technologies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to joining Technopolis, Tia-J\u2019Nae recently completed a MSc International Finance and Economics degree which immediately followed the completion of a BSc Economics degree at the University of Sussex, UK. Her work during university mostly focussed on development, education, and environmental sustainability. Her MSc dissertation was called \u2018The Extent to which Globalisation Impacts Economic Growth and Contributes to Environmental Degradation\u2019 and her BSc dissertation was called \u2018The Extent to which Brain Drain dampens Educations effect on Economic Growth\u2019. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-49954","expert","type-expert","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
