Tools\nthat have been developed to define regional strategies, as well as evaluation\nmethods, can be applied to organisations needing to position themselves in\nthese contexts. This includes the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF),\nS3, strategic and operational development based on innovation, research, higher\neducation, economy, internationalisation, as well as theory of change, impact assessment,\nand management methods such as Goal Directed Project Management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nrange of ways we support research organisations, as well as the variety of\ntools we use, can be illustrated by the following projects:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Observation of training, research and innovation activities\n(research observatory in Angers and in the Loire region, Breton innovation\nindex)<\/li><li>Study missions on the skills and employability of PhDs and\nengineers (CIFRE-ANRT, Ministry of Higher Education and Research, design of\nindustrial PhD programs in Austria and Denmark) <\/li><li>Support for strategic reflection by local authorities (such as\nAngers, Saint-Etienne in France, South Tyrol\/Alto Adice in Italy, Flanders,\nother comparable projects in Norway, Lithuania and Austria, to name some of\nthem), from assistance missions to drafting of strategic documents at the local\nor regional level (local plan in Angers, regional plan in Pays de la Loire and Guadeloupe,\nsmart specialisation strategies (S3) in Guyana, Mayotte, Champagne Ardenne\netc.) <\/li><li>Working with the institutions themselves at the level of their\nmanagement teams and their respective managerial communities (e.g. University\nof La R\u00e9union, Higher School of Agriculture in Angers, University of Luxembourg,\nMedical University of Graz). <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><em>Knowledgeable, engaged and sensitive to context <\/em><\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This\nrequires a strong ability to reduce the complexity of the specific environment\nthat surrounds each client organisation. It is not a question of reproducing\nsimple, identical patterns from one mission to another. Together with each client,\nwe engage in a very thorough analysis of its specific problems and a multitude\nof perspectives. This work is even more important given that our clients have\nlong been involved in a process of globalisation, which always produces local\nand political impacts, and regularly brings to light new needs in terms of\nsupporting change. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From\na methodological point of view, this work combines retracing former strategies\nand performance (document and data analysis), understanding stakeholders\u2019\ninterests (interviews) and validating interim results with the client (meetings\nand workshops); it is very important to participate in the validation of the\nwork at a strategic level through two or three sets of workshops, organised by\ntheme or by category of actors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\nrequires us to deliver documents that link and provide consistency to the full\nrange of information gathered and that provide our advice in different formats:\ntechnical report, executive summary, public report, action sheet, fact sheet,\ngovernance paper, guide and charter, conventions\/agreements, etc. These\ndocuments address very specific audiences and must be as close as possible to\nthe needs of each of the different players involved: management teams, managers\nand collaborators within the institution, institutional, financial or political\npartners, etc. For both the production of deliverables or working documents,\nparticular attention is given to the organisation and presentation of\ninformation, taking particular advantage of developments using Datawiz (static\nand dynamic) managed internally at Technopolis Group or in partnership with the\nclient or partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For\nthese missions, we have identified several key success factors:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Ability to listen and engage in dialogue beforehand to co-construct\ninterventions that address both \u2018strategic\u2019 (ambitions, trajectories, stakes,\nstrategic objectives, impacts) and \u2018operational\u2019 (operational objectives, organisation,\nimplementation, results, project mode, action plan, project sheet) levels<\/li><li>Knowledge and experience of the world of higher education and\nresearch \u2013 our teams, which include doctorate-level expertise, are an asset in\nreducing potential or explicit hostilities to the process of change<\/li><li>Detailed knowledge of institutional contexts at different scales\n\u2013 European, national, regional and local \u2013 and design of research topics,\ntraining and innovation related to issues ranging from real estate to infrastructure\nand equipment. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In\nshort, success stems from supporting each organisation at the appropriate\nlevel. &nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From its origins in policy analysis, Technopolis Group\u2019s approach and [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[9,237],"tags":[],"solution":[],"sector":[84],"class_list":["post-31463","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-okategoriserad","category-technopolitan-sv","sector-higher-education-sv"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.1.1 -
