Uppdragets huvudsyfte har varit att belysa vilka effekter satsningarna har haft med avseende p\u00e5 branschens energianv\u00e4ndning och dess anv\u00e4ndning av fossila r\u00e5varor och fossil energi.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De datainsamlings- och analysmetoder som till\u00e4mpats \u00e4r i) Dokumentstudier av bland annat program- och projektdokument, tidigare utv\u00e4rderingar och underlag om j\u00e4rn- och st\u00e5lbranschen; ii) Deskriptiv statistik \u00f6ver branschen; iii) Finansieringsanalys utifr\u00e5n projektlistor och projektbeslut samt kompletterande underlag fr\u00e5n Energimyndigheten, Jernkontoret och Swerea MEFOS; iv) Intervjuer med 53 personer av vilka 25 representerar 25 f\u00f6retag, 18 forskningsinstitut eller l\u00e4ros\u00e4ten, och 10 antingen Jernkontoret, Energimyndigheten eller Vinnova; Platsbes\u00f6k hos framtr\u00e4dande deltagare i projekten (H\u00f6gan\u00e4s AB, Outokumpu Stainless AB, Sandvik Materials Technology, SSAB Europe, Swerea MEFOS ochSwerea KIMAB).
