Viktoria Werner is a public policy analyst at Technopolis Group in the Frankfurt office since August 2024.
Viktoria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from the University of Cologne and subsequently deepened her knowledge in quantitative and qualitative methods of social research during her Master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Tübingen. Here she developed a particular interest in the topics of (higher) education, social inequalities and social policy and worked as a research assistant in a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) on 8th grade students’ calculation skills.
During this time, she also spent a year studying abroad at the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
Currently, she is a team member of the “DATIpilot 360° Monitoring” for the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), an accompanying research project analysing the effects of the experimental funding lines of DATIpilot in preparation for the establishment of the German Agency for Transfer and Innovation (DATI). She also works on the evaluation of the « Berlin Programme for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities for Women in Research and Teaching » (BCP) of the state of Berlin, in which specific measures to promote equal opportunities for women are to be evaluated in order to create gender-equitable structures and cultures.
Viktoria is fluent in German and English and has basic knowledge in French, Spanish and Slovene.
