Sophia McCarron is a Consultant at Technopolis on the Green Economy Team. She has developed knowledge in energy efficiency policies focusing on the built environment. She is skilled in quantitative and qualitative methods gained from experience in her professional and academic background. She regularly conducts document reviews, interviews, analysis and reporting.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Sophia worked for as a sustainability consultant supporting multi-national companies with carbon and energy disclosure, compliance and strategy in the built environment. She developed experience in advising clients on disclosures across regulatory jurisdictions, focusing primarily on the UK and EU.

Sophia holds a Master’s degree in social research methods from the London School of Economics where she completed a dissertation evaluating the impact a UK reporting requirement (SECR) had on obligated companies’ carbon emissions. She also holds an undergraduate degree in history and politics from the University of Edinburgh.
