Technopolis Group Colombia invites consulting firms, research centres, universities, data analytics organisations, and specialists in tourism intelligence systems to express their interest in participating in the selection process for the design and functional implementation of the Binational Amazon Tourism Observatory, within the project “ZIF COL-PE Cross-Border Integration for the strengthening of culture through community tourism, artisanal production, and circular economy with a regenerative approach in the Peruvian-Colombian Amazon”.
The assignment seeks to develop the methodological, statistical, and technological architecture of a strategic information platform that will support evidence-based decision-making for sustainable tourism development across the Amazon border region of Colombia and Peru.
Key areas of work include:
- Tourism statistics and intelligence systems
- Socioeconomic monitoring and SDG tracking
- Circular economy and environmental impact measurement
- Tourism observatories and data platforms
- Institutional sustainability and knowledge transfer
The Observatory is expected to become a long-term public good serving governments, tourism stakeholders, research institutions, indigenous communities, and private-sector actors across the Amazon region.
