Alice Barillet is a consultant based in the Paris office. She has developed expertise in topics related to sustainable development, with a particular interest in gender mainstreaming. During her Masters degree and previous work experiences, she has applied sucessfully a range of methods such as desk research, literature reviews, case studies and interviews.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Alice worked for Proparco (AFD Group) in Paris. During this time, she was part of the gender working group implementing Proparco’s gender strategy and analysed gender issues in a wide range of sectors. Previously Alice worked for a Brighton-ased consultancy as an Independent Research Analyst, contibuting to the External Evaluation of BMGF’s Tuberculosis (TB) Advocacy Portfolio in India.

Alice obtained her Bachelors degree in International Relations from ILERI in Paris. As part of this degree, she travelled to Lebanon to study at Université Saint-Joseph and interned at the Samir Kassir Foundation in Beirut. She obtained a Masters degree in Gender, Violence and Conflict from the University of Sussex. She is fluent in French and English and has advanced knowledge of Spanish.
