Technopolis Group conducted a mid-term evaluation of the regional Wind Power Center project. The objectives of the three-year project were to create jobs and SMEs, and help create a wind power cluster in the region. The evaluation discussed two options for the Wind Power Center: one where WPC remains financed mainly through public funding, and one where WPC is converted into more of a regional trade association of companies in the wind energy sector funded by membership fees.
