Nils Karlsson works as an analyst at Technopolis Group’s subsidiary in Sweden, where he has previous experience working as an intern. During his time as an intern, Nils has developed expertise within a broad range of policy fields including research and innovation, higher education and local and regional development. As an extension of this he has succesfully applied several research methods such as surveys, interviews, statistical analysis and desk research.

Recently Nils has contributed to several studies and evaluations on International, European and Swedish R&D and innovation support programme. He was involved in the evaluation of the Nordic e-infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC) and the evaluation of the TITA project in Region Skåne.

Nils obtained his Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Lund University, in Sweden. The principal subject of his Master’s thesis was digitalization in the public sector. Additionally, Nils has studied economics and statistics. Nils is fluent in English and Swedish, and has a good understanding of Norwegian.
