Laura López Forés is a senior consultant for the Brussels office of Technopolis Group, specialising in the evaluation of public policies with a particular expertise and interest in digital policies. As part of her work at Technopolis she has been involved in the evaluation of several policies, initiatives, and programmes for DG CNECT and DG RTD. Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Laura worked as research manager for the consultancy company Open Evidence where she was involved as core team member in several EU projects in a variety of fields (e.g. digital technologies, platform economy, labour and social studies, media, and health). Prior to that, she worked as a researcher in labour and health economics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Belgium where she conducted applied micro econometric research to inform policymaking. She therefore also has a solid background in statistical and econometric methods. Laura holds a master’s degree in Economic Analysis & European Policy from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium) and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Valencia (Spain). She is a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan and speaks fluently English and French.
