We are pleased to share the publication of a new study supporting the European Commission’s review of the Digital Decade Policy Programme, which Technopolis Group was proud to support.

The Digital Decade Policy Programme provides the framework for coordinating Europe’s progress towards its 2030 digital ambitions. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, the European Commission is reviewing the programme to ensure it remains fit for purpose.

The study provides evidence to inform this review, examining the programme’s priorities, targets, indicators and governance. It finds that the framework remains relevant and effective in supporting cooperation between the EU and its Member States, while identifying areas where it could evolve to better reflect emerging priorities, including cybersecurity, technological sovereignty and resilience.

The study also considers opportunities to update indicators, reduce administrative burden and strengthen the involvement of regional and local actors.
