Francesco Calzati is an analyst in the Digital line at Technopolis Group Belgium. In his role, he applies a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods, including desk research and data analysis in R and Python.

He contributes to DG GROW activities on European cluster policy and industrial competitiveness, as well as to DG RTD studies on European research and innovation partnerships.

Francesco holds a Bachelor’s degree in International and Diplomatic Affairs from the University of Bologna, and a Master’s degree in International Development and Public Policy from NOVA School of Business and Economics. Before joining Technopolis Group, he completed an internship at the OECD Trento Centre for local development, working on relatedness measures and industrial competitiveness.
