Bente van der Meer is an analyst at Technopolis Group in Amsterdam, with a thematic focus on science and innovation policy. She has a strong understanding of policy processes and is skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with particular expertise in qualitative methods such as interviews, desk research, case studies, and process tracing. 

Before joining Technopolis Group, Bente worked in the EU Team at TNO (The Netherlands Organisation for Applied Sciences), where she gained experience working with policy evaluation related to EU frameworks for science and innovation. 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in European Studies from The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands and a master’s degree in Political Science: European Politics and External Relations from the University of Amsterdam.

Bente is a native Dutch speaker, fluent in English, and has working proficiency in French.
