Karlijn Groen is a consultant at Technopolis B.V. in Amsterdam. She has a broad interest and operates within the domains of Life Sciences & Health, Research & Innovation and Green Economy. Karlijn is currently involved in multiple projects, among them health-related studies and evaluations for European institutions.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Karlijn worked on her PhD (nearly finished) at the St. Antonius hospital in Nieuwegein. She researched (familial) pulmonary fibrosis with a focus on genetics. Before this, she worked as a junior researcher at the Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development. Karlijn holds a research master’s degree in Behavioural & Cognitive Neurosciences at the University of Groningen and a bachelor’s degree in Life Science & Technology with a major in Biomedical Sciences from the same university.

Karlijn speaks Dutch and English.
