Lena Hoeppe has been working as a research assistant at Technopolis Germany since August 2025.
Lena studied Cognitive Science (B.Sc.) and earned her master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Neural and Behavioural Science at the Graduate Training Centre of Neuroscience at the University of Tübingen. She has been involved in various scientific projects, including at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research, the Hertie Institute for Clinical Brain Research and the Werner Reichardt Centre for Integrative Neuroscience. Most recently, she worked on a project on the lateralisation of higher visual pathways in crows. Methodologically, she is well versed in literature research, report writing, empirical methods such as electrophysiology, eye tracking, behavioural observation and quantitative analysis using advanced statistics.
Before joining Technopolis, she gained experience in the organisation, design and implementation of teaching and environmental education, as well as in individual study and career counselling.
Lena is fluent in German and English and has a basic knowledge of French.
