Magdalena Klebba is a Senior Consultant at the Parisian office of Technopolis Group. She has  developed expertise in public policy evaluation in the field of environmental, climate and energy policy. She has contributed to evidence-based policy and law making for European as well as national and regional public authorities. Her expertise lies in development of research methodologies, legal analysis, the coordination of cross-country data collection and the analysis. She provides services for for clients including DG ENV, DG GROW, DG CLIMA, DG MARE,  DG REFORM, ECHA, and CINEA.

Recently Magdalena has contributed to several studies at the European level. She supported the impact assessment for the amendment of the REACH to extend the use of the generick risk management approach to further hazard classes and uses, and to reform REACH authorisation and restriction processes. She contributed to the mapping and development of a toolkit for the reform of environmentally harmful subsidies for DG ENV. She also participated in the assessment of the crticall raw materials for the green transition for ITRE Committee of the European Parliament. At the national level, she supported structural reforms of the State Water Holding Polish Waters in line with Water Framework Directive in Poland. Currently at Technopolis Group, she works on “Mission Ocean” in the Framework of the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2021-2022 for CINEA and analysis of Options for EU Emissions Trading Scheme after 2030​ for DG CLIMA.

Prior to joining Technopolis Group Magdalena worked as Senior Research Manager at Valdani Vicari & Associati in Brussels, where she was in charge of company’s environmental  policy portfolio. Previously, she worked  at the French Ministry of Environment and the Polish Representation to the OECD.

Magdalena holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Law from Paris Sud University (France), and a Master’s degree in European Union International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe in Brugge (Belgium). Besides, she is fluent in Polish, French and English.
