Yağmur is a consultant, data scientist at Technopolis France since September 2025. She has developed expertise in applying data science and quantitative analysis to public policy and socio-economic challenges. With a background in political science, sociology, and development economics, she combines statistical and computational approaches to support evidence-based decision-making. Her work covers a range of global topics, including climate change, food security, migration, and social equity.

Before joining Technopolis Group, Yağmur contributed to research and analysis projects at CNRS and RTE International, where she gained hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing, text mining, Large Language Models, and MLOps. Her independent project had a focus on public-interest applications of AI, such as media bias detection and timely disaster management. She previously held research assistant roles in Turkey and Italy, working on EU migration challenges, and interned at the Permanent Mission of Turkey to the United Nations during the 2016 General Assembly in New York, where she participated in the High-Level Refugee Summit.

Yağmur holds a master’s degree in Development Economics, where she applied mixed methods to analyze key development indicators, and a double undergraduate degree in Political Science & International Relations and Sociology. She further specialized in data science by completing an intensive certification program. She has traveled to nearly 50 countries, gaining insight into regional and local dynamics. She is fluent in Turkish, English, French, and Spanish, and has a good understanding of Italian.
