As part of the Global Service Facility 17 (GSF17) – EU-LAC Innovation Cooperation, Technopolis Group, together with the EU-LAC Foundation and ENRICH in LAC, will be hosting a public keynote and panel discussion on “Fostering EU-Latin America Innovation Cooperation” in Bogota, Colombia on 27 August 2024.

In today’s rapidly evolving global landscape, the importance of fostering innovation between regions cannot be overstated. The European Union and Latin America share numerous opportunities to leverage their unique strengths and collaborate on innovative solutions to common challenges.

This conference, organised as part of the first in-person networking event of the EU-LAC Innovation Cooperation network, will gather 20 representatives from incubators and accelerators from both Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), regional policymakers, private sector leaders, academics, and entrepreneurs to explore and enhance innovation partnerships between Europe and LAC.

The event will feature a keynote speech on Casting Nets of Opportunity: Unveiling Caribbean Blue Economy , highlighting the region’s potential and the benefits of fostering innovation partnerships. Additionally, a panel discussion on Fostering EU-Latin American Cooperation through Ecosystem Players will bring together thought leaders to explore strategies and actionable insights for enhancing collaboration and mutual growth.
