Technopolis to lead the monitoring and evaluation of CLEAR

Technopolis Group has been selected, alongside our Mexican partner GC Genera, to lead the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of the Climate Change Education in Latin America (CLEAR) project launched by the Office for Climate Education.

CLEAR is a pilot exercise, aiming to promote and improve climate change education of primary and middle school students in Mexico and Colombia in order to induce the behavioral changes needed for ecological transition. CLEAR is cofounded by the French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM), around fifteen local partners from Mexico and Colombia and OCE itself.

The project was launched in 2020 for a duration of 5 years. Technopolis and GC Genera will act as M&E experts over the course of the duration of the project, providing methodological guidance and producing a mid-term (2022) as well as final evaluation in 2024. The pilot exercise will have the ambition of preparing an extension in Latin America.  For this reason, other partners from neighboring countries (Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, etc.) are likely to be included in the project for specific collaborations.
