GreenComp in practice: case studies on the use of the European competence framework

Commissioned by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre and Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture, Technopolis Group and 3S have conducted a study exploring how different institutions, initiatives and individuals have used GreenComp, the European Sustainability Competence Framework in practice. The study uncovers how GreenComp is shaping the development of sustainability competences of learners and educators in different geographies. It offers valuable insights into how stakeholders from formal, informal and non-formal education and training are integrating the framework to foster the development of sustainability competences. Through a set of in-depth case studies and their cross -analysis, the report illustrates a variety of approaches, highlights lessons learnt and puts forward recommendations to help foster the take up of GreenComp in the future.
