Edgar Salas Gironés is a consultant at Technopolis Group Amsterdam, specialising in innovation policy and Natural Language Processing (NLP). He has extensive experience with digital methods for collecting and analysing text and has worked on a wide range of NLP projects.

Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the field of AI for decision-making at Delft University of Technology, a data scientist at a Swedish research management company, and a researcher at Fraunhofer ISI. He holds an MSc and a PhD in Innovation Studies from Eindhoven University of Technology and a BA in International Relations from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
