Montana Wiscovitch is an analyst at Technopolis Austria. She brings a diverse skill set developed through her academic background and professional experience, with expertise in environmental communications, climate change policy at both local and international levels, and mixed-methods research. 

Throughout her professional career, she has remained dedicated to social and ecological issues. She has worked in environmental communications at Austria’s public broadcasting service (ORF), collaborated with local environmental NGOs, and most recently supported the UNFCCC (United National Framework Convention on Climate Change). There her work focused on climate change mitigation negotiations, enhancing national capacity to develop and implement Nationally Determined Contributions under the Paris Agreement, and supporting the Just Transition Work Programme. 

Montana holds a B.A. in International Economics and Development from the University of Bayreuth, which included a semester abroad at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, and an M.Sc. in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. She is fluent in English and German, speaks advanced Spanish, and is proficient in French.
