Oscar du Roy is an analyst at Technopolis Group in Brussels. He is part of the Industry line, focusing on the analysis of industry ecosystems and the international benchmarking of technology adoption. He supports the work of Technopolis through quantitative and qualitative data analysis, visualization and drafting of reports for clients.

Prior to joining Technopolis, Oscar worked for two years as an economist at the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE), a Brussels-based think tank. There he gained exposure to the political economy of international trade, geoeconomics, and the European innovation landscape. His role involved the drafting of studies for clients along with the analysis of data, econometric modelling, and visualization work. In parallel to this position, Oscar has held a position of teaching assistant in first year microeconomics at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles since 2024.

Oscar obtained a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the Barcelona School of Economics, a Master’s degree in Economic Analysis and European Policy from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Maastricht University. He also held research assistant positions at Imperial College London and at the Federal Planning Bureau in Brussels. Oscar is fluent in French and English, and has a basic understanding of Flemish.
