Sara Rey-Coquais is a Consultant in the UK Education & Skills team at Technopolis Group. She has gained expertise in public policy evaluation and research in the fields of culture and education, with a particular interest in the European region. She has contributed to projects for non-profits, intergovernmental and international bodies. Additionally, Sara holds experience in a variety of research methodologies, such as statistical analysis, large-scale surveys, interviews, case studies, benchmarking, literature reviews and desk research.

Sara contributes to several studies and evaluations on international projects such as the NextGenEU and You are EU corporate communication campaigns launched by DG COMM. She is further supporting an evaluation for the Royal Academy of Engineering on “Transforming Systems through Partnerships Programme”. Prior to joining Technopolis Group, Sara has worked across international and intergovernmental organisations. Most recently she was at UNESCO in Paris, where she worked within the culture sector in the Office of the Director General for Culture. During this time Sara contributed to capacity building projects within the sub-Saharan African region promoting and supporting cultural entrpreneurship. Previosuly Sara has also completed internships in the fields of economic development and employment at the Union for the Mediterannean in Barcelona and at the International Court of Justice in the Hague.

Sara holds and MSc in European and International Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a master’s in Political Philosophy from the University of Barcelona and a BSc in Social Sciences from University College London. She is fluent in English, French and Dutch and has proficient knowledge of Spanish.
