Tom Wolfenden is Head of Group Finance at Technopolis Group, having previously held Group‑wide operations roles within the organisation.

Before re-joining Technopolis, Tom worked in Technology Transfer and Knowledge Exchange at the University of Sussex. He managed the University’s annual HEIF allocation, driving commercial revenue growth from contracted research, consultancy, and licensing under the UK Government’s Knowledge Exchange Framework. He oversaw internal funding programmes and supported the University’s spinout pipeline, working with emerging ventures in areas such as nature‑monitoring services for land managers and healthcare decarbonisation. Tom also led the University’s adoption of HubSpot as its Sales and CRM platform and represented the institution on regional economic growth boards.

His earlier career includes serving as Head of Cabin Crew Management at easyJet, as well as holding senior sales, operations, and product development roles at TUI Travel, Whitbread, and Eurocamp.
