Theresa Reichstadt is a Principal Consultant Economist at Technopolis Group with extensive experience in economic analysis, policy evaluation and impact assessment across environmental, energy and wider public policy. She has over eight years’ experience delivering evidence-based research for government departments, European institutions, international organisations and other public sector clients. Theresa specialises in economic modelling, cost-benefit analysis, value-for-money assessment, policy appraisal and quantitative and qualitative research, and has led complex projects involving multidisciplinary teams, stakeholder engagement and primary and secondary data analysis. Her recent work has focused particularly on decarbonisation, circular economy and resource efficiency, environmental taxation, clean energy and the economic implications of environmental policy.

Most recently, as a Research Leader at RAND Europe, she led the organisation’s energy and environment research portfolio, including major evaluations and economic analyses for clients such as DESNZ, FCDO and UKRI. Previously, as a Senior Economist at Eunomia Research and Consulting, she led complex modelling and policy appraisal assignments for UK Government departments and European institutions. Her combination of economic expertise, policy experience and project leadership enables her to bridge rigorous analysis with the practical requirements of policymakers and decision-makers.
