Technopolis Germany has been commissioned by the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy (StMWi) to evaluate the activities of the Centrale Agrar-Rohstoff Marketing- und Energie-Netzwerk e. V. (C.A.R.M.E.N. e. V.).
The evaluation examines the association’s contribution to the energy transition and to the promotion of the bioeconomy, including the material and energy-related use of renewable raw materials. The aim is to assess the impacts of the association’s activities between 2023 and 2025 using scientifically sound and measurable indicators, and to develop a robust framework for the future monitoring of institutional funding.
Project Objectives
- Analyse the contributions of C.A.R.M.E.N. e. V. to the energy transition and the bioeconomy, including the sustainable use of renewable raw materials.
- Develop impact pathways, indicators, and methods for assessing the effectiveness of the association’s activities.
- Develop a methodological framework for regular impact monitoring and the future evaluation of institutional funding.
- Formulate recommendations for the further development of the funding scheme and for strengthening the association’s impact.
