Mark your calendars for the upcoming 3rd International Conference on Natural Hazards and Risks in a Changing World, scheduled for June 12-13, 2024, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. This event is co-organised by MYRIAD-EU, Risk KAN, and NatRiskChange, featuring the expertise of Arctik as part of the Myriad-EU consortium. The conference provides a dynamic forum for the exploration and discussion of compound and multi-hazard risk scenarios.

This live event fosters interaction among a diverse array of participants, including policymakers, scientists, practitioners, and members of various research communities. By promoting collaboration, the conference underscores the importance of an integrated approach in addressing and mitigating risks associated with natural hazards, thereby contributing to the realisation of a sustainable future.

Interested individuals are encouraged to prepare for participation by completing the registration process following the selection of abstracts in early 2024. The call for abstracts will conclude at the end of January, with the allocation of limited seats on a first-come, first-served basis.

This conference symbolises a collective commitment to constructing a safer future. We invite you to join us in Amsterdam and make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing discourse surrounding compound and multi-hazard risk.
