Increased coherence and openness of European Union research and innovation partnerships

There are many research and partnership programmes funded under EU budget, all having different target groups, tools and aims. The aim of the study was to (1) analyse the use of partnership instruments in the Framework Programme (with main focus on H2020) and (2) give orientations for future use of partnering concept and instruments in the next Framework Programme so that it would applied more fit for purpose, transparent and open to newcomers The report was used to stimulate a debate at the Informal Meeting for Ministers responsible for Competitiveness in Tallinn 25 July 2017.
