Marlene Kindler is a Research Assistant in the Berlin Office at the Technopolis Group. Her expertise lies at the intersection of data science, public decision‑making, and sustainability policy. She combines quantitative analysis, machine learning, and data visualization with a strong understanding of political, social, and sustainability-related contexts.
Marlene has gained practical experience in research, sustainability governance, and stakeholder management. As a student research assistant at the University of Bremen, she supported a doctoral project on the CO₂ footprint of hospitals, conducting data analyses and visualizations. She also contributed to the Commission on Sustainability, Climate Justice, and Climate Neutrality, supporting the development and implementation of sustainability measures within a university department and its associated buildings. Previously, she worked in stakeholder management at InfraGO AG (Deutsche Bahn Group), where she supported project planning, conducted environmental and stakeholder analyses, and developed targeted communication materials.
Marlene holds a Master’s degree in Professional Public Decision Making from the University of Bremen and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Osnabrück. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, she studied philosophy in Girona, Spain. She is a native German speaker and is fluent in English and Spanish.
