Technopolis Group is proud to support the European Commission with a new study on the “Stress Test Focusing on the Digital Dimension of European Environmental Legislation.“

The study aims to assess how the existing EU environmental acquis can benefit from further digitalisation, with a view to reducing administrative burden, enhancing interoperability, and simplifying implementation, while fully preserving the level of environmental and social protection established by EU law.

The study will examine how digital tools, interoperable systems, and streamlined reporting processes can improve the implementation and enforcement of environmental legislation.

Technopolis Group is leading the study in collaboration with Viegand Maagøe, Accenture, and Datoptron. The project officially concluded its inception phase in May 2026 and will run through June 2027.
