David Martin is a Public Policy Consulting intern at the Technopolis office in Frankfurt.
He is currently contributing to multiple projects, including evaluations for public institutions such as the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

David holds a BSc in Human Geography & Urban and Regional Planning and an MSc in Economic Geography, both from the University of Groningen. During his studies, he also spent a semester abroad in Lund, Sweden. As part of his master’s thesis, he conducted a case study on regional innovation outcomes in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, examining the role of SMEs and agglomeration economies.

Before joining Technopolis, he interned at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in Berlin, where he worked on regional economic and structural policy. His focus areas included the Joint Task «Improving the Regional Economic Structure» (GRW) and the Federal Funding System for Structural Development Regions (GFS).

David is fluent in German and English and has a basic proficiency in Dutch.
